How many seats on the charter bus must be booked?
A client is reserving a bus, not individual seats on a charter bus. Before confirming a reservation for a bus rental, tours, tickets or travel deals a client should determine how many passengers in their group and therefore the size of the motorcoach that would best meet their needs.

When do I need to book my trip on a charter bus?
To ensure charter bus availability, it's best to book your motorcoach as early as possible. This will allow you to receive the largest selection of available motorcoaches. Our customer care specialists will work with you on any emergency bookings (such as same day bookings/travel) 1-888-DIAL-A-BUS

What is the process after my bus is booked?
After you complete you reservation with BUS RESERVE®, you will receive an email with your reservation/confirmation number and a complete itinerary of your trip based on the information you provided. Any changes in your itinerary must be completed with a customer care specialist at 1-888-DIAL-A-BUS 8:00 am to 6:00 pm eastern daylight time.

Is alcohol/smoking allowed during my trip?
There is no alcohol and no smoking permitted on any BUS RESERVE® motorcoaches.

What is unacceptable conduct of passengers upon the tour bus ?
BUS RESERVE® and its vendors reserve the right to refuse charter bus transportation to any individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and may be are likely to become disruptive during the trip. Additionally, if the driver feels threatened in any way, by a passenger, the operator has the right to stop the vehicle until the matter is resolved.

Are you allowed to eat aboard the deluxe fully equipped motorcoach?
Most charter bus vendors do not permit food or drinks on the bus. Please ask your driver about the rules of their particular motorcoach company. All coolers must be kept either on an available empty seat or in the storage compartment under the tour bus. As a safety precaution, coolers can not be kept in the aisle.

Payment Questions:

What type of deposit is required to book my trip?
Full payment is due upon confirmation of your charters bus services online booking. Reservations made through email or phone operators require 20% deposit at the time of the reservations for your transfer, travel, deal, bus tour or charter bus services. The rest of the payment due no later than two weeks prior to the trip. If full payment is not received, your reservation will not be guaranteed.

What is the company policy regarding refunds?
BUS RESERVE® welcomes your business and understands there are situations when you may need to cancel or reschedule your trip. More than 30 days prior to the departure date, you wil receive a full refund of your payment or deposit. 30-8 days, there will be a 25% cancellation fee. For cancellations 7 days or less, you will forfeit the full amount of the trip.

When is the full payment balance due?
For on-line reservations for bus tours, airport transfers, travel deals, charter bus services or other transportation options, full payment is due at the time of booking. The reason we require full payment is because BUS RESERVE® immediately assigns a motorcoach for your reservation from the existing bus inventory. For all reservation made through 1-888-DIAL-A-BUS with a customer care specialist; a 20% deposit is due immediately to secure your reservation and the balance is due 2 weeks prior to departure date to confirm your reservation.

What are additional fees not included in my quote?
Your quote includes all fees except: any parking fees, driver lodging and gratuity; or any unexpected fees that may occur during the trip.

Is there any large group transfer or charter bus booking incentives?

Am I required to pay for driver's gratuity?
BUS RESERVE® does not require gratuities for their charter bus vendors or motorcoach drivers. A gratuity is a method of showing your appreciation and satisfaction for their outstanding transportation and/or bus tour services. If you enjoyed the bus service s/he provided a 10% or $1.00 per person gratuity is customary.

What are acceptable payment options for all bus tours, charter bus services, transportation, travel and tour reservations?
BUS RESERVE® accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and debit cards through the on-line charter bus, travel, tour, and transportation service reservation system. In addition, we also accept personal checks and bank checks, but only when a reservation in made through a customer care specialist at 1-888-DIAL-A-BUS.

How will my charter bus be equipped?
BUS RESERVE® offers deluxe, fully equipped 49 and 56 passenger Motorcoaches. Amenities include:

Can I request a bus that is handicap accessible?

Does BUS RESERVE® offer mini-coaches and vans?

What if I lost my baggage on the bus?
BUS RESERVE® will not be held responsible for any personal property. BUS RESERVE® will make all effort to recover any customer belongings left on the vehicle during the trip. Individuals are responsible for their personal belongings and should check to assure all personal belongings are with them when the trip has finished.

What happens if my charter bus has a breakdown?
BUS RESERVE® has a network of charter bus vendors along your trip route. Our 24 hour dispatch center will respond to an emergency, such as a breakdown, by sending out another motorcoach to complete your trip.

What happens if the bus comes late?
Professional ethics dictate that our drivers arrive at least 15 prior to the departure time, as per the itinerary. BUS RESERVE® and its vendors are committed to providing you with the most reliable service: unfortunately, traffic, weather, and bad road conditions are out of the control of BUS RESERVE® and its vendors.

Who is responsible for damages that may occur during a trip?
The cost of repairing damage to any vehicle resulting from acts of individuals in the charter party shall be charged to the charter party.

What selection process is used by BUS RESERVE® to approve their vendors?
BUS RESERVE® has the highest standards for quality, service, and safety. We have an extensive process for vendor selection which includes but is not limited to years of operation, safety records, insurance, customer feedback, and our own personal knowledge of bus vendors while working in the bus industry for many years.

What insurance is needed by the vendors?
Our vendors are required to have a minimum of $5,000,000 insurance coverage. If requested, we can provide a certificate of additional insured after the reservation has been completed.

What are the allowable hours for drivers?
BUS RESERVE® strictly adheres to all US Department of Transportation safety regulations. http://www.dot.gov. If you require a reservation that includes driving long distance without stopping, an options of a second driver is available. Please contact a customer care specialist at 1-888-DIAL-A-BUS.

Who is responsible for obtaining the driver's hotel room?
For an overnight trip, the customer is responsible to provide the driver's room. When contacting a hotel, inquire about large group discounts or a complimentary room for your driver.
